Peru State men’s basketball to host offensive skills camp in August


(Peru, Neb.)—Peru State Men’s Basketball Head Coach Bob Ludwig recently announced that the men’s basketball program will host an offensive skills camp from Monday, August 1 through Wednesday, August 3. The camp will be for boys in third year through high school. The camp will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day and registration for the walk will take place this Monday at 8:30 a.m.

The camp will provide detailed instruction for all levels of play, from recreational to college competition. Individual and small group groups will be evaluated and ranked with similar competition to ensure a positive experience for every camper. The camp will focus on improving shooting, passing and ball handling. The intent of the camp will be to provide drills and methods for improving offensive skills in a fun and energetic environment. There will be 1v1, 3v3 and 5v5 matches every day.

The cost of the camp will be $70 per participant and includes a free t-shirt.
