The third film of the charming Paddington the franchise moves forward with the director Dougal Wilsonand the film is officially titled Paddington in Peru. This will be Wilson’s feature debut; he has mostly directed short films and music videos.

StudioCanal and Heyday Films produce the Paddington franchise, based on the books by Michael Bond. The original 2014 movie Paddington saw the young Peruvian bear travel to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he met the kind Brown family, who offered him temporary refuge. The 2017 sequel found Paddington happily settled with the Brown family and a popular member of the local community, following him as he picked up a series of odd jobs to buy the perfect 100th birthday present for his Aunt Lucy, only to that the gift is stolen. .

Ben Wishaw Paddington voices, but there are no details on who will join him in the film. We also don’t have any plot details to share, but the script is written by Mark Burton, Jon Foster, and James Lamont.

The former director Paul King didn’t come back because he was busy directing Timothée Chalamet in the next WB movie Wonka. However, he is an executive producer of the film.

The Paddington the movies are great! I hope the quality of this third film is up to par with the previous films that have been made.
