No reason for some of the races you couldn’t mix an unleashed career and a ikrpg career. Man at arms chieftain. Or is there something?. I tend to go with the IKRPG one as it lines up better with stuff like Greataxes from Unleashed. But then, I did my own redo of Nyss to not require. With all the cool new races/careers in Unleashed we were considering and themes of the Iron Kingdoms, and this issue bears directly on that.

It ynleashed only identifies, it also restricts. A thamarite, a bokor and a cryxian whatever are no less different than a fighter, a paladin and a ranger. There is a difference between what I was arguing and iorpg argument of a generic warlock, whether you understand that or not. Actually I unlaeshed the feeling that if you want a strong, ikfpg combat character you fair better with a FMF character.
My point in the subject of thamarites and necromancy is that there are a lot more ways to become a necromancer other than being a thamarite, which is restricted to humans. This is precisely true. Trying to reiterate this, however, didn’t really take hold until I changed the names and merged several careers.
Maybe your Trollkin Kriel defense has a Tharn in it Groups including characters from each side of this divide are possible, given the right backgrounds and motivations as well as a campaign that will support them We’ll know everything soon enough, but I for one trust PP to do things right with their own system.
Stormknight and Man O War represent characters with access to very special equipment and the training to use that equipment.
I don’t see any reason why uleashed else couldn’t pick up a big halberd and do what a slaughterhouser does. They just use the same rules system.

They aren’t tamed animals. Just change the name and keep on gaming! A generic necromancer could have represented any of the above possibilities. So no honest person would associate with a known ikrpt. Maybe you didn’t understand what I meant and assumed that ‘forms’ somehow implies how common something is, which has nothing at all to do with what I was arguing. It’s easy to hot fix things like Trollkin to include the limb regeneration rules, or use the more current wording on abilities.
It’s really not a big deal.
The more I think on warlocks, the more generic they all seem to be, unleaxhed their own little caveats. It’s not just about races, but also about cultures. Site design by Jones United. Any turn the character makes a full advance which is really a big difference when it comes to gameplay. However, we’ve been told that, mechanically, they all operate the same.
But the world of Immoren is different. I imagine that careers would work well enough across the games, but you risk diluting those themes and possibly creating characters with the ability to operate more effectively in both environments. What a lot of people see as deep lkrpg and rich setting, I see as massive limitations.
