Cusco 4 Star
Lodging and Hotels

Novotel
This 4-star hotel opened in June of 2001, converted and built around the early 16th century colonial house of Miguel Sanchez Ponce who accompanied Francisco Pizarro. Located in the heart of the city, the hotel sits in a prime location because of its proximity to The Plaza de Armas (Main Square), the Cathedral, the Inca museum and the airport and this hotel commonly refers to itself as the "gateway to Macchu Pichu". Built with exceptional colonial style, the hotel was recognized for its "beautiful courtyard" by the South America Handbook because the courtyard and magnificent gardens are covered beautifully by a glass structure.

Equipped with 99 rooms, the Novotel provides modern comfort with a unique feeling of spaciousness and contemporary décor for both business and leisure travel. Offering 15 non-smoking rooms and 16 suites, the Novotel tries to accommodate the needs of all its guests especially with 24 hour room service daily.

Additionally, the Novotel has two restaurants and one bar to serve its guests. Le Bar is open from 11-11 daily and serves all of your favorite cocktails in an atmosphere that allows for rest and relaxation. Le Cave is a restaurant featuring international cuisine in an elegant setting. Lastly, the Cote Jardin is open for only 5 hours a day and serves as a café-type establishment situated in a garden setting. Relax here and enjoy the tranquility of the garden. The Novotel provides great tourist information and is helpful in booking tours, acquiring tourist tickets, or simply just directing you where to go on your Peruvian adventure.

Picoaga Hotel
Sitting in the heart of Cusco is the Picoaga hotel whose architecture is described by many of its guests as simply "beautifully stunning." Just one block from the Plaza de Armas (Main Square) and a short walk from the center of all the monuments, this hotel is seconds away from the center of the archaeological capital of the Americas. Originally the mansion of the 17th century noblemen Marquis of Picoaga, the mansion is now a comfortable hotel known for its structural beauty. With intimate and private colonial style areas that define architectural beauty, stone framed archways, magnificent columns and a Spanish patio, this hotel is an authentic sample of 17th century architecture at its finest.

Divided into 2 sections, the hotel offers 72 rooms in either the "colonial" or the "modern" area, all with spacious rooms and accommodating amenities to provide guests a superb stay while in Cusco.

The El Mirador and El Virrey restaurants ensure elegant atmospheres and exquisite national and international cuisines. The Los Cadiles bar is an inviting, warm and friendly place to enjoy a cocktail while feeling like nobility by admiring the pure size and architectural complexity and intricacy of this once noble mansion.

Jose Antonio Cusco Hotel
Different from most hotels in the city, Jose Antonio Cusco is a recently built hotel with a modern structure. Not a restored mansion or colonial house, the hotel doesn't have a historical legacy, but does help meet the city's theme of mixing older structures with modernity.

With 124 comfortable rooms, this hotel uses new technology and innovation and has noise-reducing windows to ensure peaceful rest for its guests. Additionally, each room has a Jacuzzi in its bathroom to meet the standards of today's world. The El Rejo Restaurant-Bar offers dining with open to windows to provide great views of city life and archaeological wonder. El Rejo offers great Peruvian cuisine, traditional Pisco Sour cocktails and delicious international cuisines for all to enjoy. A large hotel, the Jose Antonio hotel offers a Plazuela with shops within to introduce the modern concept of hotels that offer more than rooms and restaurants, but shopping as well.
